The International Institute in Akron’s North Hill welcomes new Americans and helps them settle into their homes in Greater Akron. North Hill has attracted immigrants for decades, and the vibrant mix of cultures is apparent in the area’s restaurants, shops and clubs. Going back in time, you’d find North Hill full of the new arrivals from Italy, Ireland, central and eastern Europe, and, most recently, Nepal and Bhutan.
